The IQ Suite VOL. I · ISS. IV
Live · 847 reconciliations running Issued 16 · IV · 2026

The whole bookkeeping function,
done on its own.
CFO-grade analysis, instant.

CodeIQ runs the eight-phase pipeline: OCRs receipts, codes every line, classifies VAT, matches invoices, posts a reconciled ledger into Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or Pandle. ReconcileIQ closes the gap between any bank and any books. LedgerIQ turns a GL upload into a board pack — Altman, Beneish, Piotroski, DuPont, Holt-Winters — in under a minute, equations printed underneath.

№ 01 ReconcileIQ

ReconcileIQ

Does your bank statement actually match your books? ReconcileIQ connects to your accounting software, compares every line to your bank, and surfaces the discrepancies. Missing entries, duplicated postings, unmatched payments — all flagged with evidence so you can fix them.

  • Direct sync with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Pandle, FreeAgent, YNAB
  • Upload any bank worldwide as CSV, Excel or PDF
  • any bank PDF statements parsed natively
  • Invoice ↔ payment mode for credit control

№ 02 CodeIQ

CodeIQ

Automated bookkeeping, end to end. Upload a PDF bank statement, drop in a pile of receipt photos, drag over an eBay or PayPal export — and CodeIQ codes every line, classifies the VAT, matches invoices, detects transfers, and posts the lot into Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or Pandle. One pass. For your business, or for every client you run.

  • PDF bank statements → fully coded books, no retyping
  • Receipt & invoice OCR (Dext-grade) built in
  • eBay / Amazon / PayPal sales & fees parsed automatically
  • Direct posting to Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and Pandle
  • Up to 10 client books processed concurrently

№ 03 LedgerIQ

LedgerIQ

CFO-grade analysis from your own general ledger. Export the GL from any accounting platform, upload, and in seconds you have a full board pack — P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, ratio analysis, DuPont decomposition, anomaly detection, forecasts, narrative commentary. It's not advice. It's the maths, applied faithfully, with the equations shown so you can check the workings.

  • 40+ analysis modules from a single GL export
  • One-click board-ready PDF with branded cover
  • RiQ companion writes the narrative, explains any metric
  • Runs client-side — your ledger never leaves your browser

§ 02 · The typical month

From statement to closed month.

Most months look like this. Pull the statement. Verify it matches the books. Code the unposted entries. Review the numbers. Whether you're doing it for your own business or for a client, the suite collapses the work into minutes — and the same data carries cleanly from one stage to the next.

§ 03 · CodeIQ

A bookkeeping pipeline that runs on its own.

CodeIQ handles the repetitive work of keeping books: reading statements, OCR'ing receipts, parsing marketplace feeds, classifying VAT, matching invoices, detecting transfers, posting to your platform. One flow, supervised by you when it matters. For your own business, or for every client a practice runs.

01 · Inputs
Every source you already use

PDF bank statements from any bank, CSV or Excel from any bank worldwide, eBay / Amazon / PayPal marketplace exports, and a drag-drop pile of receipt and invoice photos. All parsed; all turned into the same structured ledger.

02 · OCR
Receipts & invoices, read natively

Gemini-grade OCR reads 20 messy receipt photos at once, extracts the supplier, date, net, VAT and line items, then creates proper invoices directly on your accounting platform — and matches them to the correct bank lines. Dext-class, included.

03 · Intelligence
Eight-phase coding pipeline

Transfer detection, invoice matching, your own historical patterns, crowd-sourced universal patterns (3,500+ and growing), MCC category matching, semantic embeddings from a 768-dimension BGE model, your own prior corrections, and VAT classification. Each row scored for confidence.

04 · Posting
Direct into Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Pandle

No CSV dance back to the platform. Proper OAuth, atomic POSTs, platform contacts resolved or created, VAT codes mapped per platform, reconciliation flags honoured. Pandle supports full auto-reconcile; others as far as the API allows.

05 · Parallelism
Up to 10 client books at once

If you're a single business owner, one session runs as fast as it can. If you're a practice, ten concurrent sessions share one browser — each with its own state, its own progress bar, its own credit pool. The background job system keeps nothing blocking.

06 · Pattern network
A crowd-sourced merchant map

3,500+ universal merchant patterns (and climbing) contributed anonymously by the user base. ASDA, Shell, Stripe, eBay fees, DHL — already mapped the way UK bookkeepers actually code them. Your own corrections feed back in and everyone benefits, without anyone ever seeing anyone else's data.

07 · Learning loop
It learns from your corrections

Every time you override a suggestion, CodeIQ stores that as a personal pattern. Next session — next client, even — the same merchant codes the way you fixed it. User learning overrides every other method, so the system gets quieter and more accurate the longer you use it.

08 · VAT
Classifies UK VAT automatically

Standard, zero, exempt, reverse charge, EC acquisitions — all classified inline, mapped to the right platform code (Xero's RRINPUT vs Pandle's RR vs QBO's). Net and VAT amounts calculated, audit view per transaction. MTD-ready before you even submit.

§ 04 · The pipeline

Eight phases. One transaction. One millisecond.

Every line on every statement passes through the same eight-phase pipeline. Transfer detection, invoice matching, historical patterns from your own ledger, crowd-sourced universal patterns, MCC category matching, a 768-dimension semantic embedding model running locally, your own learned corrections, and VAT classification — in that order, in parallel, across every transaction in the batch. Here's what happens to SHELL 15/04 −£62.40.

§ 05 · ReconcileIQ

Find the gap between your bank and your books.

Reconciliation that isn't just tick-and-bash. ReconcileIQ pulls your ledger from your accounting platform (or accepts a CSV), compares every line to the bank, and shows you exactly what's missing, duplicated or out of place — with the evidence sitting next to each flag. Works with any bank worldwide.

01 · Sources
Any bank, any platform

Drop in a CSV or Excel from any bank in the world. Upload the PDF statement if that's all you have — any bank layouts parse natively (Lloyds, HSBC, Barclays, Monzo, Starling, Santander, Mettle…). Or sync the ledger directly from Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Pandle, FreeAgent or YNAB via OAuth.

02 · Matching
A native C++ engine, not a spreadsheet

5,000 rows per second, with configurable date tolerance and fuzzy description matching. The suggestion engine ranks candidates by confidence so you can approve a whole column in a click. Handles one-to-many and many-to-one matches, batch payments, partial settlements.

03 · Discrepancies
What's missing, duplicated, or wrong

Exceptions split into three categories: bank lines with no ledger entry (likely missing from books), ledger entries with no bank line (likely duplicated or wrongly dated), and matched pairs with value drift (likely a miskeyed amount). Each with the evidence row attached.

04 · Invoice mode
Match invoices to payments

A second mode for credit control: match outstanding invoices against payments received. Spot unpaid invoices that should be chased, overpayments that need refunding, and partial settlements that need allocating. Exception list exports to CSV for your chase workflow.

05 · Output
Reports, exports, or direct fixes

Summary PDF for the file. Exceptions CSV for the follow-up. And where supported by the platform API, direct push — add the missing bank entry, delete the duplicate, adjust the value — without ever leaving the page.

06 · Formats
PDF statements, the awkward ones

The PDF-to-CSV converter handles the formats other tools refuse: multi-column layouts, split-page balances, bracket-negative amounts, footer continuations. Seventeen UK bank templates parsed natively, including the card-statement layouts (American Express, Capital on Tap) that trip up generic converters.

07 · Audit
A trail you can hand to a reviewer

Every match — and every exception — carries its evidence: confidence score, reason codes ("same amount, same day, +3 char fuzzy merchant"), input rows, output rows. Save the session to revisit next month, or export the full audit pack when HMRC or a lender asks to see the workings.

§ 06 · LedgerIQ

CFO-grade analysis, the moment you hit upload.

LedgerIQ reads a general ledger export and, in seconds, returns the full pack: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, statement of changes in equity, 40+ ratio and forecasting modules, DuPont, Altman, Beneish, Piotroski, Benford, Holt-Winters, anomaly detection, board-ready narrative. What makes it different is that nothing is invented. Every figure resolves to a published formula applied to your own data — and we show you exactly which one. Your CFO in a browser tab, with the workings printed underneath.

01 · Input
A GL from any accounting platform

Export the general ledger from Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Pandle, FreeAgent — or any system that exports CSV or Excel. LedgerIQ reads it all, maps the accounts automatically, and flags anything that needs your eye before analysis begins.

02 · Output
Board pack in one click

A branded PDF with the three statements, the ratios, the trends, and a written narrative you can hand to a client, a board, or a lender. Print-ready in under ten seconds. Useful for the sole-trader reviewing their own year, and for the practice preparing a client meeting.

03 · Privacy
Runs entirely in your browser

The GL never leaves your machine. All calculation happens client-side — ratios, charts, forecasts, the lot. Nothing to upload to a server, nothing for us to retain. You can unplug the internet after the page loads and it still works.

04 · The point
Pure maths, not advice

Every ratio in LedgerIQ is a published, well-known formula applied to your own figures. No black box. No "AI opinion". You can audit each output back to the equation, and back to the GL rows that fed it. That's the trust signal.

05 · Forensic
Looks for manipulation, not just ratios

Beneish M-Score for earnings manipulation, Benford's Law on first-digit distribution, robust MAD outliers on every account — run automatically. A client whose gross-margin index quietly drifts while receivables swell gets flagged before the bank manager spots it.

06 · Narrative
RiQ writes the board commentary

Point RiQ at any module and it drafts the prose around the figures. "Gross margin contracted 2.4pts on rising input costs; the CCC widened by eleven days driven by inventory build." You edit, you sign off, you send. Print-ready narrative in the same PDF as the numbers.

§ 07 · RiQ companion

One AI runs the whole suite with you.

RiQ is the same conversational layer inside every product. In CodeIQ it reviews and suggests account codes, discusses edge-cases and applies the fix for you. In ReconcileIQ it explains why a pair is or isn't a match, and drafts the reconciliation notes. In LedgerIQ it navigates between any of the 40+ modules on command, writes the narrative around your ratios, and generates the board report. It holds the context of your current session — not your full history, not your data at rest — and its answers always cite the rows, formulae or API calls it used.

In CodeIQ
  • Single-row review. "Why did you code this to Rent?" RiQ explains the match — historical pattern from 14 prior transactions, universal pattern agrees, semantic cosine 0.91. Apply or override in one click.
  • Bulk sweep. "Review all low-confidence rows." RiQ works through them in the background, flags the four that need your eye, auto-approves the rest.
  • Filter by command. "Show me transfers above £5,000 still unposted." RiQ sets the filters, jumps to the view. You never touch a dropdown.
  • Discussion thread. Follow-up questions stay in context. "And the one before it?" "Split that in half?" The thread remembers.
In ReconcileIQ
  • Evidence on demand. "Why didn't these two match?" RiQ shows the amount delta, the date drift, the fuzzy-merchant score — and suggests the rule to widen if you agree.
  • Batch narration. "Summarise this month's exceptions." A paragraph you can drop into the working paper, cited back to the exact rows.
  • Push through. "Post the missing entry as a bank transfer." RiQ drafts the call, shows the payload, waits for your OK.
In LedgerIQ
  • Navigates 40+ modules. "Take me to cash conversion cycle." "Now show me the seasonal decomposition." One thread, any module.
  • Explains the maths. Pick any figure. RiQ shows the equation, the inputs from your GL, the industry reference, and writes the prose.
  • Writes the board report. Full narrative pack built from your figures — no invented numbers, every sentence traceable.
  • What-if scenarios. "Price up 3%, variable cost +1.5%." RiQ runs the CVP module and returns the new break-even and ROCE.
§ 08 · The time

The month that took three days, in thirty minutes.

This is what usually changes for a new user in week one. Same work, same accuracy, same filed month — compressed. The hours aren't lost; they're returned to review, advisory, client calls and sleep. The column on the right is typical, not best-case.

§ 09 · For practices

Running many clients? The suite scales to the job.

Most of the suite is designed to serve a single business owner closing their own month in half an hour. But when you're a practice with a roster — twenty, fifty, three hundred clients — the same tools pick up extra capabilities you can layer in from the Practice tiers onward.

Roster
10concurrent
Ten client books in parallel

Up to ten background sessions per browser, each independent. Kick off the fifty-client month and let the suite work while you're on calls.

Credits
Pooledacross team
One balance, one budget

Practice tiers pool monthly credits across the whole team. No per-user rationing, no trapped allowances, no awkward top-ups mid-month. Overage bills once, at your tier's rate.

Client accounts
2,500free premium
Every client, their own login

Practice tiers include free premium client accounts — Practice Essential 250, Practice Pro 2,500, Enterprise 20,000. Each client logs in with their own credentials, sees their own data, and has their own corrections learned by the coding engine. You stay in control from the practice dashboard.

Admin
Dashboardbuilt-in
See every client, every status

Practice Pro and above ship with an admin dashboard: all clients, all sessions, all credits used, all posts made, all flags raised. Use it to plan the month, to triage exceptions, and to prove the work to whoever asks.

If you're a single business owner, none of this gets in the way — Starter at £5/mo covers one user and runs the full suite against your own books. If you're a practice, the Practice tiers layer in the scale without changing the tools.

A partial index — the features most people ask about once they see the price. Everything here is shipped and running in production.

Engineering

Matching core written in C++, not a script.

ReconcileIQ's reconciliation engine is compiled native code. It handles 5,000 rows per second, with fuzzy description matching, tolerance windows and quality-sorted candidates. The browser never freezes — a Node layer queues the jobs; C++ does the work.

RiQ · Credit control

Match invoices to payments received

A second mode in ReconcileIQ: pair outstanding invoices with payments received. Batch, one-to-many, many-to-one, partial settlements — all confidence scored. Unmatched invoices drop into an exceptions list for you to chase.

CiQ · Receipts

Drop in 20 receipt photos.

Dext-grade OCR reads them all, creates the invoices directly on your accounting platform, and matches them to the right bank line.

CiQ · Coding

Eight phases, one pass.

Transfers → invoice matching → your history → crowd-sourced patterns → MCC codes → semantic embeddings → your prior corrections → VAT classification. Each pass narrows the field. Every row is scored, and the last word is always yours.

LiQ · Reporting

GL to board pack, client-side.

Upload the general ledger (from any accounting platform) and LedgerIQ produces trial balance, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, ratios, DuPont decomposition, break-even, seasonality and anomaly detection. No data leaves the browser.

RiQ · PDF

any bank PDFs.

Lloyds, HSBC, NatWest, Barclays, Santander, Monzo, Starling, Halifax, Mettle — parsed directly, no tabula wrestling.

CiQ · Marketplaces

eBay, Amazon, PayPal — parsed in full.

Upload the marketplace export and CodeIQ extracts sales, fees, shipping and refunds as proper journal entries. Payouts reconcile against your bank feed so nothing is double-counted. Useful if you're running an e-commerce book yourself, or doing the books for a client who is.

LiQ · Ratios

ROE, decomposed.

DuPont: net margin × asset turnover × leverage. Interactive, drilled, explainable.

All · Security

AES-256, GDPR-first.

UK-registered. Session data (CoA, VAT codes, GL, embeddings) is purged when you close the session. No silent retention.

Suite · Copilot

Ask RiQ "why was this flagged?" — get an answer tied to evidence. Ask it to "write the Q1 commentary" — a drafted narrative lands in your board pack. It's an option you can ignore, but it's there when the minutes add up.

LiQ · Export

§ 15 · Common questions

Frequently asked.

Short, honest answers. Anything missing, email [email protected].

Is the suite for business owners, or accounting practices?
Both. Single business owners use it to keep their own books — Starter at £5/mo is designed for exactly that. Practices use it to scale across many clients — the Practice tiers pool credits across the team and come with free premium client accounts (250 on Essential, 2,500 on Pro, 20,000 on Enterprise), so every client you onboard gets their own login and dashboard at no cost to you. Same tools, different volume.
Can I use one product without the others?
Yes. Every plan includes all three but you're not obliged to use them together. Many people start with ReconcileIQ for PDF statements, find CodeIQ once they've uploaded, and reach for LedgerIQ when they need a report.
Which accounting platforms do you support?
Direct OAuth posting: Xero, QuickBooks Online, Sage, Pandle. ReconcileIQ connects to those plus FreeAgent and YNAB. LedgerIQ reads a GL export from any system, since every platform exports CSV or Excel.
What happens to my data?
Session data (chart of accounts, VAT codes, invoices, GL, embeddings) is purged at the end of every session. We do not persist client data beyond the work you're doing in that moment. Crowd-sourced patterns are only ever contributed when you explicitly consent, and are anonymised first.
How accurate is CodeIQ's coding?
Around 97% against real client data, pre-review. Every transaction is scored for confidence; uncertain ones get flagged for your eye. Manual corrections become user-learning overrides that apply on the next run automatically.
What counts as a "credit"?
Credits scale with the depth of the work: 1 credit per reconciled bank line, 2 credits per PDF-parsed transaction, 4 credits per fully-coded transaction (coded + VAT-classified + posted), and 1,000 credits per full LedgerIQ analysis. Monthly credits expire at month-end, but any unused allowance rolls over as bonus credits that never expire. Separate bonus credit packs are available for purchase too.
Do you replace my bookkeeper or my software?
Neither. CodeIQ automates the repetitive parts of bookkeeping — coding, OCR, VAT classification, posting — so the humans in the process can spend time on judgement, advisory and review. It sits on top of Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or Pandle, not in place of them.
Is there a free trial?
14 days, no card required. Trial accounts include a capped credit allowance across all three products. Upgrade any time; nothing auto-converts.

The books, done this afternoon.

Start the trial. Run one set of books through it — your own, or a client's. Most people say the first hour tells them everything.
